Who we are
A bridge of friendship between Italy and English-speaking countries.
The “Together” Association is founded in Milan, Italy, by a group of teachers passionate about teaching and with a common dream: to create a bridge of friendship between Italy and English-speaking countries, to teach English through relationship (through Friendship).
The name “Together” embraces the thought that to educate and raise children “you need a village.” This philosophy reflects the way our Camps are organized, working closely with schools and families.
We organize English Camp with storytelling, sports, art, music and drama workshops designed for preschool, primary and secondary school students.
Our Story
We started with the first camp in 2011-it was a great success especially because of the enthusiasm with which our American teachers worked with the children. Today we are present in several schools throughout Italy.
We operate mainly in Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, Tuscany, Piedmont, Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto with localized presences in the rest of Italy as well.
We have grown by learning from experience, always starting over for a new adventure, never taking anything for granted, on a path of continuous growth.
We have also become increasingly experienced in selecting teachers, always looking for specific skills and competencies but also for enthusiasm. We have consolidated our relationships with American and Irish universities.
The adventure continues!
Training has become increasingly precise and timely, keeping pace with the evolution of foreign language teaching.
Our teachers are full of enthusiasm, competent and professional

The stories and testimonies of some of our camp participants
English Camp is great!
One of the things that I loved most about working at camp was the opportunity that I had to develop and deepen relationships through training and camp. Being able to stay with a host family was an absolutely wonderful experience. I was so blessed that I was able to get to know such wonderful people. I was the most surprised by how much the kids could learn in a two week camp. It was amazing to watch the difference between the students at the beginning of the camp and the progress they made by the end of it.
This summer was magic. Oh, those people! Truly some of the finest and kindest teachers, host families, and memories I could have experienced. I missed my kids! On our final day teaching, four sweet kids read a letter out loud to their families in Italian, sharing about each of us with their parents, as well as why they loved having Joe, Carmel, and I as their teachers. Cue my big crying moment! I'll never forget this summer experience! Missing the cabin scenery and memories all the time. 🙂
This is an experience that I will never forget. I loved teaching and ended up really and truly loving each and every child and my host family. It was very hard to say goodbye. I learned so much during my 5 weeks in Italy mentally and spiritually. I truly am so thankful and I hope to come back next summer to help as much as I can.
